R.A.F.T.

You are to complete one of the following R.A.F.T. assignments. You will take on a role, writing to a particular audience. You will use the assigned format to discuss your topic.

Due Dates:
The assignment will be handed out on Monday, April, 5, 2011.
The assignment is due Thursday, April 8, 2011 at the start of class. Every 24 hours, or part of 24 hours, late will result in a 50 % deduction.
The assignment may be turned in by the start of class Monday, April 5, 2011 for bonus points.

Option 1:
You are a root. After reading the works of Martin Luther King, Jr., Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, and Guillermo Fariñas Hernández ("El Coco"), you are inspired to give a speech to integers to demand equality.


Option 2:
You are an exponent. You have been summoned to Math Court and are to give instructions to a jury about the laws of exponents.


Option 3:
You are a function. You are enamored with another function and feel moved to write a poem telling why you form a composite function.

The Important Book
Using the format of "The Important Book" create a review page for the semester exam. You will be assigned a topic to explain.

The assignment is due Monday, May 9, 2011 at the start of class. Every 24 hours, or part of 24 hours, late will result in a 50 % deduction.
The assignment may be turned in by the start of class Thursday, May 5, 2011 for bonus points.
